(VOVworld)– Vietnam’s consulates in Hongkong and Macao held a ceremony on Friday to mark Vietnam’s 69^th National Day on September 2.

Speaking at the event, Consul General Hoang Chi Trung said that after nearly 30 years of renewal, Vietnam has achieved remarkable progresses and has become a middle-income country. Trung stressed that Vietnam is consistent with its foreign policy of independence, peace, and cooperation with other countries, being active in the international integration process and becoming a reliable and responsible member of the international community.

On the same day, Vietnam’s Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka-Vietnam Friendship Association held a meeting marking Vietnam’s 69^th National Day.
