Vietnam’s National Day celebrated in Hong Kong and Sri Lanka

(VOVworld)– Vietnam’s consulates in Hongkong and Macao held a ceremony on Friday to mark Vietnam’s 69th National Day on September 2.

Speaking at the event, Consul General Hoang Chi Trung said that after nearly 30 years of renewal, Vietnam has achieved remarkable progresses and has become a middle-income country. Trung stressed that Vietnam is consistent with its foreign policy of independence, peace, and cooperation with other countries, being active in the international integration process and becoming a reliable and responsible member of the international community.

On the same day, Vietnam’s Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka-Vietnam Friendship Association held a meeting marking Vietnam’s 69th National Day.
