Vietnam’s new COVID-19 cases decrease by 500 in 24 hours
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported 3,819 new cases of COVID-19 in 56 provinces and cities on Friday, a decrease of nearly 500 cases compared to Thursday, said the Ministry of Health.

More than 1.7 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given to children aged 5 to under 12 years old in Vietnam.
The vaccination rate of first and second dose for people aged 18 or older is 100%; 57.5% of the adult population is vaccinated with 3rd dose.
The vaccination rate of first and second dose for children from 12 to 17 years old is 100% and 96.4%, respectively. The vaccination rate of first dose for children aged 5 to under 12 is 13.7%.
