Vietnam's new COVID-19 cases drop to 800 on Friday
(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said on Friday that new cases of COVID-19 decreased to 800, 113 fewer cases than on Thursday. During the day, there were 8,755 recoveries, 10 times higher than new cases. No deaths were reported.

The COVID sub-variants BA.4 and BA.5 have been detected in Vietnam. During the previous three days more than 900 new cases had been reported each day, an increase of 200 cases per day. The Ministry of Health said it is closely monitoring the epidemic situation around the world.
