Vietnam’s poverty reduction accomplishments appreciated
(VOVWORLD) -President Tran Dai Quang on Wednesday received Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, also the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

President Tran Dai Quang on Wednesday received Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, also the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development, at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi. Mr. Quang said that thanks to an inclusive financial policy, Vietnam has obtained significant socio-economic results, and that its poverty reduction accomplishments have been acknowledged internationally. He suggested the Queen, as a representative of the Netherlands and the UN, will help Vietnam mobilize financial and technical resources from international organizations to develop an inclusive financial policy.
Queen Maxima said her visit aims to promote inclusive finance in Vietnam. She appreciated Vietnam’s achievements and affirmed the Netherland’s readiness to share its experience in the field with Vietnam.
