At a press conference on Monday in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Quoc Phuong told reporters on Vietnam’s efforts for economic recovery and development.

"This achievement is attributed to a combination of causes from leadership to direction and administration, especially the efforts of all levels and branches, the solidarity and trust of the business community as well as people in society as a whole. Here we want to emphasize one more point that every level was determined to revive the socio-economy at the beginning of the year. So, production and business, all sectors of the economy recovered strongly and returned to normal,” Mr. Phuong said. 

Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi told reporters that the Ministry of Finance is proposing the Government to upgrade Vietnam's stock market from a marginal market to an emerging market by 2025.
