Madam Ngan said Vietnam always attaches importance to consolidating and developing friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with countries in Europe and the Middle East, especially Turkey – a leading economic partner of Vietnam in the region.
The two legislators agreed to boost the bilateral trade value to 4 billion USD by 2020.
Chairwoman Ngan asked Turkey to recognise Vietnam as a market economy and remove protectionist measures and anti-dumping duties on Vietnamese exports. She said she hopes both countries will work closely to boost cooperation in transportation, aviation, security, defense, science, and technology.
