(VOVworld) - Vietnam's Trade Promotion Agency and Thai Embassy in Hanoi have jointly held a workshop to promote bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

The event on Wednesday was one of activities to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. Hung Yen province and Can Tho city were selected as the investment destination suggestions for Thai investors. Delegates were updated on bilateral strategic trade cooperation, investment priorities and local commitments. They agreed to accelerate diplomatic and economic exchanges to boost cooperation in areas of Vietnam’s potential advantages, including textiles and garments, cosmetics, food and machinery. Vietnamese businesses will be encouraged to run more promotional activities in Thailand to lure local investors.
