Vietnam–US investment and trade see vigorous development
(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) to help Vietnamese enterprises improve their competitiveness and advise his government on directing national development. He received a US-ABC delegation led by President and CEO of the council Alexander C. Feldman in Hanoi on Thursday.

Vietnam-US relations, especially their investment and trade ties, have made progress over the past decade, Mr. Phuc stressed, appreciating US businesses’ assistance and cooperation with their Vietnamese peers, particularly through the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Mr. Phuc said the Vietnamese government expects US-ABC to help Vietnamese companies to capitalize on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement.
At the reception, US enterprises spoke highly of Vietnam’s improving investment environment and expressed their wish to expand business in Vietnam.
