The two met on Wednesday at the headquarters of Adani Group – a conglomerate with interests in port development and management, electricity, and infrastructure – in India, and the Indian billionaire posted a picture of them on X (formerly Twitter).
Adani Group has already invested in two renewable energy projects in Vietnam, including a wind power project with a capacity of 27.3 MW and a 50 MW solar power project in Ninh Thuan province. It is exploring the possibility of investing up to 3 billion USD in seaport and renewable energy projects in Vietnam.
Vietnamese electric car manufacturer VinFast Auto, Vingroup’s automobile arm, has announced plans to enter the Indian market in the near future, possibly building a factory there. In April next year VinFast will launch three electric car models in a market of 1.4 billion people, India's Economic Times reported on Tuesday.
