(VOVworld) – The province of Vinh Phuc is hosting a Culture-Tourism Week to attract more investment into the local economy. Activities are underway at 4 venues including Vinh Yen city, Phuc Yen town, Lap Thach district, and Tam Dao district. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said at the opening ceremony: The 2013 Vinh Phuc culture-tourism week is part of Red River delta tourism activities. The government hopes for more developed tourism at localities including those in the Red River delta. I believe that the region will successfully achieve its goals in tourism development.

An art performance themed “Vinh Phuc on the path of development” was included in the opening ceremony, featuring cultural and tourism potential, traditional customs, and love of locals for their hometown. The event will end Tuesday.
