(VOVworld)-The Vietnam News Agency has marked the 55^th founding anniversary of the photography editing section on the occasion of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day on June 21.

The editing section was conferred with the Independence Order, 3^rd class in recognition of its contribution to the national revolutionary press. Speaking during the ceremony on Tuesday, National Assembly Deputy Chairman Uong Chu Luu praised the contribution and sacrifice by VNA photographic reporters for their works to serve the national development. He hoped that the VNA will make further progress in national construction and defense.

On the Vietnam Revolutionary Press day June 21, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations on Tuesday held a meeting with media representatives. The Union Chairman Vu Xuan Hong pledged further cooperation with press agencies to promote communications and strengthen international friendship and cooperation.
