(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly on Wednesday began a Q&A session with Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long being the first to answer questions. Voters nationwide watched the Q&A session through live broadcasts.
Voter Hoang Thi Dung in Yen Bai province said: “The Q&A session was straightforward as what we had expected. The deputies asked questions on burning issues, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, capacity of local health facilities, preventive health, and vaccines. The Minister gave clear answers and elaborated many important issues. The voters expect that pandemic preventive measures will be implemented systemically and effectively.”

Bui Van Phong, Vice President of the War Veterans Association of Ngo Quyen district, Hai Phong city, said the Minister got straight to the points that the National Assembly deputies and voters wanted to hear.
“The Government’s resolution 128 is appropriate with the current situation. We suggested that the Health Minister and health sector closely follow the situation and propose the Government to issue appropriate solutions. To live safely with COVID-19, the measures must be more specific and close to the situation,” Phong said.
