(VOVWORLD) - Many voters say they believe in a fruitful outcome of the ongoing National Assembly session which follows the crucial 6th plenum of the 12th Party Central Committee.
The fourth session of the 14th National Assembly begins Hanoi on October 23, 2017. |
They praised the National Assembly’s plan to revise the Anti-corruption Law but pointed out weaknesses in the battle against corruption.
Hanoi voter Do Duy Thuong said: “In a recent report, only a few of more than 1 million asset declarations were found to be incorrect. But the report was based on payroll income and the real problem is non-payroll income. We lack effective ways to determine income and prevent corruption.”
Many voters say there are problems with personnel appointments. Le Thanh Tung of Ho Chi Minh City said: “Regarding apparatus streamlining, I suggest that the heads of administrations at all levels take the lead. If the plan fails, they must be held accountable.”
