VOV president calls for employees’ help for people affected by Typhoon Yagi
(VOVWORLD) -Do Tien Sy, member of the Party Central Committee and President of the Voice of Vietnam, on Monday called on all staff of VOV to lend a helping hand to people affected by Typhoon Yagi.

In his address at the National Broadcasting Center, 58 Quan Su, Hanoi, Sy emphasized that Typhoon Yagi, the most powerful storm to hit the East Sea in the past 30 years, has wreaked heavy havoc on the northern provinces.
He urged VOV staff’s contributions to sharing the losses of the people, promoting the fine traditions of the nation and the responsibility of journalists for the community.

Also on Monday, the Trade Union of the Voice of Vietnam launched a call for all VOV employees to donate at least half a day's salary to join hands to support the people affected by Typhoon Yagi.
