VOV President receives ADB Country Director for Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam as a developing country expects to receive more support from the ADB for stronger development, VOV President Do Tien Sy told Country Director for the Asian Development Bank Andrew Jeffries during a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday.
Jeffries expressed his admiration of Vietnam’s development progress, especially its impressive Covid-19 vaccine roll-out and pandemic control efforts, which he said is contributed by VOV as a multimodal media outlet.
The ADB has closely watched and followed information from VOV and other press agencies for timely implementation of practical projects for Vietnam’s post-pandemic rapid recovery, Jeffries said, adding the ADB has implemented strategies with Vietnam to overcome difficulties and secure social economic development after the pandemic.
