(VOVworld) - China and the United States need to have a stable and cooperative relationship, Chinese President Xi Jinping told US Vice President Joe Biden at a meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

President Xi Jinping said that in the 38 years since their establishment, diplomatic relations between China and the US have continued to progress. Since the two set up a new relationship in 2013, they have achieved positive results in economies, investment, and human resource exchange. Trade and investment between the two have increased. Mr. Biden said the US hopes the two countries will continue to deepen mutual trust and expand cooperation.
