At a joint news conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Ukraine, Mr. Charles Michel warned that a European Union meeting next month to decide whether to begin formal accession talks for Kyiv to join the EU will be difficult.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius paid an unexpected visit to Ukraine on Tuesday. He said Germany will support Ukraine with another military aid package worth 1.4 billion USD that will include four additional IRIS-T air defense units.

Earlier, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced 100 million USD in new military aid to Ukraine during a trip to Ukraine on Monday.
