(VOVWORLD) - A ceremony to honor winners of a contest on the 90-year history of the Communist Party of Vietnam was held on Saturday in Ho Chi Minh city.

Launched in late August, the contest has received 1.8 million entries.
Vo Van Phuong, deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications and Education and chief organizer, said: “The contest has widespread effect and is an effective channel to disseminate information on the Communist Party of Vietnam’s 90-year history to the public. We hope to receive more support from the Party, agencies, social organizations, and people.”
