(VOVWORLD) - The National Press Awards 2021, which will honor 115 works, will take place on Tuesday (June 21), Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day.

There will be 10 A prizes, 22 B prizes, 48 C prizes, and 35 consolation prizes, selected from more than 1,900 entries. The Voice of Vietnam has won 2 A, 2 B, and 2 C prizes. The entries covered major political events, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association Nguyen Duc Loi said: "COVID-19 was a hot topic and many prize-winning stories covered that topic. Another hot topic was recovering the economy after the pandemic, especially in the last half of 2021."
The award ceremony will be broadcast live on VOV.
