(VOVworld) – Photographer Vu Ngoc Hoang has won first prize for his work, “Color of the homeland”, in the photo contest “Enjoy Vietnamese identity”.

Photographer Vu Ngoc Hoang won first prize for his work, “Color of the homeland”, in the photo contest “Enjoy Vietnamese identity”.

There were also 2 second prizes, 3 third and 6 consolation prizes. The photo contest “Enjoy Vietnamese identity” was co-organized by the Youth newspaper and Saigontourist company to honor the beauty, history, culture, cuisine and people of Vietnam. The contest received nearly 72,000 entries. Tran Hung Viet, Saigontourist’s General Director, said: “This is an effective way to promote the image of Vietnam’s land, people and culture. Those photos will be posted on websites and in the mass media to popularize them. This shows Vietnam as an interesting destination with friendly and hospitable people”.
