(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Youth Federation held a ceremony on Sunday to launch its Winter Volunteer Campaign 2015 and Spring Volunteer Campaign 2016 in Lang Son province.

The volunteer campaigns, in response to the “I love my homeland” movement, will run across Vietnam until the end of next February, helping people in need or living in disadvantaged regions. Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Vietnam Youth Federation, said: “We hope to develop a community of volunteers to help ease the difficulties of people in Vietnam’s northern mountain and border areas. These programs are also aimed at educating young people about a more responsible life.”
