(VOVworld)  - A workshop has been held in Kiev to promote Vietnam’s tourism to Ukrainian tourists.

Entitled “Vietnam, an attractive destination to Ukrainian visitors”, the event aimed to increase the number of Ukrainian people to visit Vietnam through which to consolidate the two countries’ hospitality industry and tighten the bilateral comprehensive cooperation.

Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tri said at the meeting that Vietnam has many internationally recognized landscapes, beautiful beaches, and tropical climate favorable for developing sea tourism.

Tri noted that Vietnam is a country of a diverse culture and time-honored history and Vietnamese people are friendly and hospitable to foreign visitors. It is improving the quality of the tourism to satisfy visitors’ demands.

The Ambassador said hailed close coordination between the Vietnamese embassy, relevant agencies of Ukraine, and travel companies of both nations in creating favorable conditions for Ukrainian people to come to Vietnam.
