The UN Assistant Secretary-General on climate change Janos Pasztor said world leaders confirmed their participation in the conference because they thought that is an important event. He said COP21 in Paris is not the final point but it marks a breakthrough to a future of less emission. Mr. Pasztor stressed the presence of world leaders showed countries’ support to climate change negotiations as well as solidarity with France.
At COP 21, 195 member countries will discuss measures to keep the global temperature of rising no less than 2 DC.
