World leaders send condolences to Russian government over plane crash
(VOVWORLD) - Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday sent a message of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin over the crash of a Russian airplane on Sunday.
A Saratov Airlines plane crashed shortly after taking off from Moscow on February 11, 2018, killing all 72 people on board.

Xi extended his deep sympathy and sincere condolences to the families of the victims. The same day, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang sent a message of condolence to his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the people and government of Russia. Vietnam’s President Tran Dai Quang sent a message of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian airliner crashed Sunday shortly after taking off from Moscow, killing everyone on board, including 65 passengers and a crew of six.
