(VOVWORLD) - The Lao news agency KPL ran an article Tuesday highlighting the election of Vietnam’s new State President, Prime Minister, and National Assembly Chairman. The article said all the new leaders left their mark on their previous positions through hard work, innovation, and a string sense of responsibility.

The article said the new leaders are expected to use their intellect and talent to build on the success of their predecessors in realizing Vietnam’s aspiration to become strong and prosperous under the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
Czech media outlets, including the Czech News Agency (CTK), Czech Television (CT), and e-newspaper Halonoviny, ran articles Monday on the election of new State, Government, and National Assembly leaders in Vietnam. According to the articles, the new leadership is expected to continue helping Vietnam make great strides forward, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and elevate its stature in the world.
In an interview with VOV, Doctor Evgeny Kobelev, a senior expert at the Vietnam-ASEAN Research Center of the Fareast Institute of Russia’s Academy of Science, praised Vietnam’s new leadership and said Vietnam needs to continue its development policies which have brought about significant results. He said maintaining stability will strengthen the confidence of investors, the public, and the international community.
Mexican e-newspapers El Universal and Voces del Periodista posted stories on the election of new leaders in Vietnam. They said 2021 is an important year for Vietnam, as it marks the beginning of Vietnam’s 2021-2030 Socio-Economic Development Strategy and 2021-2025 Socio-Economic Development Plan. With creativity and innovation, the new leaders will find sound orientations, decisions and policies that will carry Vietnam forward in great strides. The stories predicted that friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Mexico will be consolidated, enhanced, and elevated to a new height.
“The Diplomatic Society” newswire of South Africa carried an article Tuesday highlighting the international community’s acknowledgement of the new Vietnamese leaders. The newswire’s Editor-in-Chief Kirtan Bhana said the new Vietnamese government will prioritize external relations to build political trust, strengthen Vietnam’s relationship with its 30 strategic and comprehensive partners, strengthen relations with potential new partners in the region, and promote multilateralism and international law.
