(VOVworld) - The cruise liner Voyager of the Seas of the US Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines carrying more than 3,600 tourists and nearly 1,200 crew members docked at Chan May port in Thua Thien Hue province on Sunday. Passengers visited the ancient imperial city of Hue, ancient Hoi An town, and Da Nang city. The passengers include representatives of leading press agencies and magazines from Australia and Hong Kong who have come to explore Vietnam’s tourist relics in Thua-Thien-Hue province. The cruise liner’s visit is linked to a project to upgrade Chan May port’s Wharf No.1 and boost the Thua-Thien-Hue province’s tourism cooperation with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Company of Malta. The Royal Caribbean International Group has invested 4 million USD in upgrading Wharf No 1 to receive super-size ships.
