(VOVworld) – A delegation of the American Council of Young Political Leaders, ACYPT, led by Amol S.Neik is visiting Vietnam until Saturday.

In Monday’s reception for the group, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations Vu Xuan Hong briefed them on Vietnam’s socio-economic situation and the state of Vietnam – US relations. Hong said he hoped that the delegates will learn more about Vietnam’s land, culture, and history to increase mutual understanding and boost the friendly relations.

Amol Niek said the 8 young political leaders, all between 25 and 40 years of age, have a strong potential for future leadership. They will meet with Vietnamese agencies to exchange ideas about management and public relations techniques to generate a foundation for future relations.

The American Council of Young Political Leaders was found in 1966 to exchange young American delegations with other countries.
