(VOVworld) – The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee has held a ceremony to honor young innovators in anticipation of its 10th national congress, scheduled for December. Present at Sunday’s event in Hanoi were Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan as well as leaders and youth representatives.

First Secretary of the Youth Union Nguyen Dac Vinh told participants that young people are encouraged to develop their creativity and master science and technology for national development. He said: The youth are associated with creativity. The Youth Union Central Committee will extend its creativity movement among the youth, work more closely with relevant agencies to inspire youngsters’ creativity, and create favorable conditions for them to put their initiatives into practice, contributing to socio-economic development and national defense.
