Young people contribute to Vietnam’s development
(VOVWORLD) - Promoting human resources is included in the resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Humans are the center, the main driving force, and the target of development. Young people are encouraged to embrace solidarity, self-improvement, and creativity as Vietnam ushers in a new development period.

Student Do Ngoc Dang, a senior at the Banking Academy and a Party member for two years, said the Party’s socio-economic development orientation gives priority to high-quality personnel training.
“The Party and State advocates the development of young personnel. I’m looking forward to more policies to encourage high-quality personnel training at universities and startups. New higher education programs that capitalize on world trends should be introduced, such as those focusing on technologies and equipping students with the skills needed to start their own business as undergraduates,” said Dang.
Bearing in mind the role of young people in socio-economic development, Hua Quang Linh of Hanoi Water Resources University said he believes in self-directed study to acquire new skill and knowledge.
“Going beyond the school’s official curriculum, I keep up with the changing landscape and modern trends. I do my best to be competent so I can sell myself to employers,” said Linh.
According to Nguyen Anh Thu, valedictorian of Hanoi Law University, the Party and State consider science and technology the key to socio-economic development and have introduced initiatives to foster innovation and creativity. New graduates like Thu are optimistic about policies that help them turn ideas into action.
