Youth Community House inaugurated on Spratly archipelago

(VOVworld) – A Youth Community House has been inaugurated on Da Tay Island in the Truong Sa or Spratly archipelago in Khanh Hoa province.

At a cost of around 817,000 USD and covering an area of 225 square meters, the house was constructed by the program “Collect stone to build Truong Sa” launched by Tuoi Tre or Youth newspaper. The Chief Commander of Da Tay island, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Quang, says the house will serve as a place for sports and cultural activities for the island’s soldiers and provide shelter for visiting fishermen: "The soldiers on the island and fishermen are very happy and grateful for the great concern of the Party, State and people. Other houses will be built here by the “Collect stone to build Truong Sa” program".
