(VOVWORLD) -A ceremony was held at the A1 Martyrs' Cemetery in Dien Bien Phu city on Friday to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.

Hundreds of youth union members representing over 160,000 members of ethnic groups in Dien Bien province and the Youth Union of the Central Businesses’ Bloc laid wreaths at the Memorial, lit candles, and offered incense on the martyr’s graves at Cemetery A1, Him Lam, Doc Lap, and Tong Khao.
The Youth Union of the Central Businesses’ Bloc has raised fund and donated 50,000 USD to the construction of the Great National Unity House in Dien Bien province. The organization also gave gifts to the local soldiers and children of social beneficiary families.
