(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan have met 445 delegates who attended a congress on excellent youth studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples.

At a meeting in Hanoi on Sunday, Ms. Ngan called on the young people with their enthusiasm and strong will to continue to study and work harder to be more clear-minded and ambitious. The young delegates proposed that the National Assembly Chairwoman create favourable conditions for the younger generations to take a greater part in the legislature’s activities and society. They urged the leaders to give guidance for the young people to engage in start-up, scientific and technological research, and other new areas. There should be incentives for young academic people to go to work in the rural areas so as to narrow the development gap between rural and urban areas.

National Assembly Chairwoman Ngan praised the role of youth and the Youth Union in organizing congress on excellent youth studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples from 2014 to 2016. She said:“445 participating delegates are really examples of following President Ho Chi Minh’s morality and have made sizable contributions to Youth Union activities and child movements, being influential in society. Each delegate is a bright example and these examples will be spreading all over our society.
