(VOVworld) – A seminar to discuss the love of the homeland by young ethnic people and religious followers opened in Hanoi on Tuesday with 48 delegates from 13 provinces and cities attending.

Deputy head of the government committee for religious affairs Duong Ngoc Tan said that young people, including ethnic minorities and religious followers, play an important role in national construction and defense and help to communicate Party and state policies: “The theme ‘Love of the homeland’ has drawn the attention of social organizations. The seminar helps young ethnic people and religious followers be more aware of their role in national construction and defense and speak out about their aspirations towards the Party and state concerning youth-related issues.”

The delegates received the Ho Chi Minh Medal from the Vietnam Youth Federation. Earlier, they visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
