(VOVworld) – 100 photos of Vietnamese heritages are on display at an exhibition which opened on Sunday in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province.

The photos, which are chosen from the Vietnamese Heritage Photo Awards 2016 organized by Vietnam Heritage Magazine, depict the rivers of Vietnam, the nature, tangible and intangible heritages, and life.

According to the organizing board, the 2016 Vietnam Heritage Photo contest received around 5,400 entries from 507 photographers, including 14 foreigners ones. The contest was launched to call on the community inside and outside Vietnam to contemplate the values of Vietnamese natural and cultural heritages which need to be preserved. A ceremony to announce prize winners will be held in Ho Chi Minh city on November 23.

The exhibition will also be held in other 6 provinces and cities in Vietnam until early 2017.
