2nd Congress of Young Vietnamese Talents opens
(VOVworld) – The 2nd Congress of Young Vietnamese Talents opened on Sunday with 364 delegates attending. The congress is aimed at encouraging young people to contribute to national construction and defense during modernization, industrialization, and international integration. Vice-chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong said: “The Party and state have faith in the young generations and their contributions. They are an important driving force for national growth. Young talents should be nurtured and encouraged to contribute to national development.”
The HCM Youth Union held a youth exchange on Saturday featuring success stories of a number of outstanding youth. Nguyen Hai Dang, a student at the University of Transport, said: “I’m glad to hear the success stories of those who excel in their careers and everyday lives. Their stories motivated me a lot in my study so that I will be able to contribute more to Vietnam’s development.”
