80,000 trees to be planted along national highways in 2020
(VOVWORLD) - Around 80,000 trees are set to be planted along national highways across Vietnam in 2020, said Phan Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Head of Directorate for Roads of Viet Nam.

She was speaking at a ceremony held in Bac Ninh on Friday to launch a tree-planting festival in accordance with President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings. This will contribute to create more green spaces along national highways and protect road infrastructure by preventing erosion.
