According to a latest study by the International Labor Organization (ILO), technological advances in 5 ASEAN countries have a strong impact on the labour market. Vu Tien Loc, President of VCCI, said enterprises, particularly those owned by women, have more opportunities to take advantage of digital technology, ecommerce, and online marketing amidst the 4^th industrial revolution. But he called on female entrepreneurs to improve their knowledge and skills to keep abreast of the market changes. Mr. Loc said the digital economy needs creativity and flexibility, which businesswomen and small enterprises are strong in. He added: “The World Bank says women are saviors of the world economy. So the 4^th industrial revolution is a revolution of women and a revolution to liberate women and to create business equality. If both revolutions are combined, they will create a global economic boom.”
