We, the Vietnamese women, will strive forward to deserve the golden letters presented by President Ho Chi Minh to Vietnamese women: heroic, indomitable, faithful, humane, and responsible."
In other development, patriotic emulation movements launched by the Vietnam’s Women Union over the past time have encouraged Vietnamese women nationwide to contribute to the country’s industrialization and modernization as well as social common development. The Union Vice President Nguyen Thi Tuyet made the remarks, adding that more activities will be launched by the union in the near future to promoting the women’s role in national socio-economic development. Tuyet said: "We have set out targets to implement the Politburo’s Directive No. 3 to encourage people to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples. We will call on women to further practice thrift for sustainable poverty reduction. Another task includes appealing women to follow the criteria for Vietnamese women in the industrialization and modernization process which is “confident, self esteem, faithful, humane, and responsible” in order to implement the Party Resolution on Party building."
