Cultural Day highlights Vietnam ethnic groups
(VOVWORLD) - The 2018 Vietnam Ethnic Groups’ Cultural Day event began on Thursday at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in the Dong Mo tourism area of Son Tay town, Hanoi.

In her address, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh spoke highly of the role of the village, which has served as a venue for different ethnic groups to promote their cultural values: “Vietnam Ethnic Groups’ Cultural Day has become a great festival of the 54 ethnic groups, and is an opportunity for ethnic people to meet and exchange. It helps to promote and honor good cultural values, while enriching the spiritual life of the people, promoting national solidarity, and socio-economic development”.
This year’s event features a gala of ethnic culture, ethnic cultural days, and an exhibition.
