Themed “Practical activities, prioritize resources for children”, the Month of Action for Children in June will mobilize all people to involve in taking care, educating, and protecting children.

Since it was launched 30 years ago, the Action Month for Children has attracted all sectors, families, and the whole society to take practical actions to create a safe environment for children.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha told the event: “Teenagers and children should dream, aspire, and strive to realize their dreams, developing themselves and contributing to the national development. During Action Month for Children, we pledge to allocate maximum resources so that every child can live in love and happiness, fully develop physically and mentally, and nurture their dreams to rise up for a stronger country.”

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and donors presented 50 gifts and 30 bicycles to children in difficult circumstances in Thua Thien Hue province. The Thua Thien Hue Provincial Children's Protection Fund received over $250,000 from donors.

The same day, the Deputy Prime Minister attended the inauguration of the multi-function building at Vy Da Primary School and visited the SOS Children's Village in Hue.
