Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam: Vietnam’s development policy gears towards childcare
(VOVworld) - Speaking at a discussion on children’s rights and business principles, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam hailed Vietnam as the 2
nd country in the world and the first in Asia to have ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. This has made all national policy to cater for children’s rights and an early completion of many UN millennium development goals.

The Deputy Prime Minister told the workshop in Hanoi on Thursday that enterprises should be encouraged to promote children’s rights and talents:
“Vietnamese enterprises are ready to cope with any challenges and turn them into opportunities to create prosperity for themselves and the community. Companies have been contributed to child care through funds and direct humanitarian activities. We need to foster a world relevant and friendly to children.”
