(VOVworld)-A conference themed “A year of enhancing and renovating mass mobilization work” opened on February 25^th in Hanoi.This is the first year of implementation of a resolution introduced during the seventh session of the 11th Party Central Committee on enhancing and renovating the leadership of the Party in mass mobilization work. The Party Committee of the Central Agencies Block has 64 Party Committees with more than 67 thousand Party members divided into 5 thousand Party cells, so the Party cell will serve as the core force for implementing the year of mass mobilization.

Speaking at the conference, Dao Ngoc Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Block said that to concretize and implement mass mobilization work in 2014, committee, and party organizations should continue to study Party and Government resolutions and regulations on mass mobilization work.  Dung said: “The year of mass mobilization 2014 will be implemented nationwide with two big steps. The first step is to raise awareness, defining the role and responsibility of each cadre, party member, youth member, and worker, especially leaders of Party and Government agencies. The second step is to strengthen mass mobilization work in state-owned agencies with the aim of building and implementing a democratic administration with discipline, openness, and responsibility.”
