Participants will discuss 6 topics: deep foundations, tunneling and underground spaces, ground improvement, geotechnical modelling and monitoring, landslide, and erosion. This year’s event has received 187 published papers by scientists from 40 countries and territories like Japan, South Korea, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Australia. 160 papers will be presented at the conference. Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung said: “The conference will be attended by nearly 800 delegates. Vietnam’s construction sector needs to address technical challenges including foundation technique. At the conference, experts will exchange ideas and Vietnam will learn knowledge about technical solution for construction projects in Vietnam.”
