Experts predicts positive economic growth this year

Economist Tran Du Lich said Vietnam’s economic will enjoy brighter prospect this year, with a growth rate of up to 7%. Deputy Rector of Ho Chi Minh City School of Economics, Tran Hoang Ngan praised Vietnam’s focus on social welfare over the past 5 years, which will be foundation for faster economic growth of more than 6.6%. A member of the National Assembly’s Financial and Budget Commission, Bui Duc Thu, said Vietnam’s economic growth rate of 6.7% this year is feasible thanks to its stable social economic foundation.
