(VOVworld)-The Ministry of Health has reviewed the implementation of the Party directive on strengthening healthcare network at grassroots level.

Speaking at the event in Hanoi on Saturday, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Education and Communications Commission, Dinh The Huynh, urged the healthcare sector to strengthen efficiency and resources in the healthcare network and improve community participation for better quality of care. Huynh called for a strengthening of moral discipline among health workers in line with the campaign to learn from Ho Chi Minh’s moral example:“The healthcare network at grassroots level is the closest to people and it must ensure fundamental services at low cost. This will ensure equality in health protection and social welfare. This will ease the pressure on central level healthcare system and provide treatment of simple diseases for the poor.”
