Hanoi gears up efforts to preserve the Thang Long Royal Citadel
(VOVworld) – Hanoi is undertaking a number of measures to preserve the Thang Long Royal Citadel. Accordingly, the city will expand the archaeological excavation site and increase research on architectural works of the pre-Nguyen dynasty.
The city’s center for the preservation of Thang Long heritage will work with the Institute of Archaeology to expand the excavation site at Kinh Thien Palace. The city has set aside nearly 77 hectares for the relocation of a number of agencies and asked the relevant agencies to quickly finalize a draft plan on the management of the heritage site.
