Many foreign tourists have shared their trust and love for Hanoi, whether they visit the capital city for the first time or have lived there. Walking alone and exploring destinations in Hanoi is said to be "very safe".

Recalled their experience visiting downtown Hanoi, both Mayce, a tourist from the US, and Alicya Gorska from Poland, shared the same views on Hanoi that it is a good city with good climate, delicious food, friendly people and an amazing social life, night life, and also a safe place.

This year, Hanoi targets to welcome 22 million tourists, 3 million of them are foreigners.

To that end, Hanoi has focused on developing river tourism products, MICE, a type of tourism that combines meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and golf tourism.
