(VOVWORLD) - “Happy Vietnam 2023” contest was launched on Thursday to popularize Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic and cultural development and human rights protection through photos and videos.

The contest, launched by the Foreign Service Information Authority under the Ministry of Information and Communications, aims to spread human values, empathy, and care of the community for everyone with the desire of "leaving no one behind”.
Deputy Director of the Foreign Service Information Authority, Dinh Tien Dung, said: “The contest introduces the beauty of Vietnam’s nature and people to the world, rekindles an aspiration for national development and prosperity and happiness for every Vietnamese, and raises the cultural values and the power of the Vietnamese people in the new era. The contest will honor individuals and groups, no matter if they are Vietnamese or foreigners, for their informative products to promote Vietnam’s beautiful images to the world.”
More information of the contest is available on the website https://happy.vietnam.vn. Submission time is from June 15 to September 15. The total awards are valued at about 17,000 USD.
On this occasion, the Foreign Service Information Authority debuts the Vietnam foreign information portal at vietnam.vn, an official platform to promote Vietnam’s images.
