(VOVworld) - Khanh Hoa province has hosted an exhibition of maps and archives about Hoang Sa and Truong Sa with historic evidence of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the archipelagos. Jointly held by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Naval Force, the exhibition displays 120 maps and documents collected by domestic and foreign scholars clearly define Vietnam’s time honored national sovereignty over the islands without any opposition and disputes with any countries.


Earlier, the Ministry of Information and Communications presented a collection of maps and documents to Nam Yet and Sinh Ton island. Head of the Ministry’s External Communications Department, Le Van Nghiem, said:“The documents on display in various island of Truong Sa help local people and army understand fully about Vietnam’s legal and historical evidence over the sea and islands. This will improve national pride, strength and determination in the struggle to protect sea and islands sovereignty."
