(VOVworld) – A conference on natural resources and environment management towards sustainable development was held in Hanoi on Thursday by the Institute of Strategy and Policy on Natural Resources and Environment (INSPONRE), the Hanns Seidel organization, and German International Development (GIZ).

Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen The Chinh, Head of INSPONSE, said Vietnam has issued laws and policies on natural resources and environment management.
Managers and scientists attending the conference proposed more effective ways to manage natural resources and the environment towards sustainable development until 2020 including fine tuning institutions, climate change response, adaptation, and vulnerability, and land policies until 2020 with a vision to 2030.
